Why should I get my photos certified?
By having your photo certified, you prove to the JALF community that it’s really you in the picture: it enhances your credibility and increases your chances of connecting with people! Once certified, a small blue frame and a small icon will appear to show other members that your photo is certified.
How do I certify my photos?
1. Accessing photos:
• Computer: Go to the “My Photos” section accessible via the top menu.
• Mobile: Open the mobile menu, scroll to “My Options” then select “My Photos”.
2. Selecting the photo:
• On the computer, hover your cursor over the photo and click on the icon with a small pencil. Then select the “Certify” option.
• An informative window will open. Click on “Get my photo certified”.
And that’s it! Your photo will be sent to our moderation team for verification. If it meets the required criteria, it will be accepted as a certified photo.
What type of photo can I ask to get certified?
Only photos from your public and private albums can be certified. We must be able to clearly see your face to identify you.
How to identify certified photos?
Certified photos will have a small blue frame around them and the certification icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen when you view photos on another member’s profile.
