Want to browse JALF more discreetly, no matter where you are or what time it is? The Discreet Mode, also known as NSFW (Not Safe for Work), is made for you. When enabled, any potentially sensitive content—including nudity or sexual content—is automatically blurred.
Here’s how it works and how to enable or disable it depending on your device.
What is Discreet Mode?
When Discreet Mode is enabled:
- Explicit images, videos, and content are blurred automatically.
- A warning appears if you try to open sensitive content.
- You can still view specific content without disabling the entire mode.
When disabled, all content appears normally, without any filter.
How to Enable or Disable Discreet Mode
On Desktop
- Log in to your account.
- Look at the left-hand side menu.
- Just below that menu, you’ll see a small switch labeled “Discreet Mode.”

What Happens If You Click on Blurred Content?
If Discreet Mode is enabled and you try to access blurred content, a warning message will appear with three options:
- Close the message and don’t view the content
- View this content only, without disabling the full mode
- Disable Discreet Mode entirely to view all sensitive content
You stay in full control of your experience on JALF—whether you’re browsing from work, in public, or simply prefer a more private interface. This feature lets you enjoy the site your way, with freedom and discretion.
