With the goal of improving the user experience for our members, we’ve started a gradual transition to centralize all communications to the Conversations feature.
Conversations are the ideal way to start a discussion with someone quickly, in a fluid and effortless way. You can:
- Send secret messages that disappear after a while;
- Get a confirmation when the member has read your message;
- Start a video call right from your discussion when you’re ready to move to the next step.
Furthermore, the Conversations feature will keep improving in the near future, with the goal of making your communication experience with other members all the more pleasant and efficient. Our objective is not to remove a way to communicate, but more so to provide all the tools you need to start a conversation at the same place.
If you cannot see the option to send a message to a member's mailbox when you view their profile anymore, don't worry! We’ve only removed this button from profiles. You can still access your Mailbox from the main menu, and you can still use it to send new messages. Here's how:
How to access my Mailbox ?
On desktop, you still have access to your Mailbox in the left menu.
On a mobile device
On your mobile device, you can access your Mailbox by clicking on the messaging icon located in the top right corner of your screen.
How to send a new message in the Mailbox?
Here's how to send a new message to a member on desktop:
1— In your Mailbox, click on "New".
2— Start writing the username of the member you wish to contact. The platform will show options of members to select. You can even see your list of favorite members for quick access.
3— Write your message and click send. It's that easy!
On a mobile device
Here's how to send a new message to a member from your mobile device:
1— In your Mailbox, click on the options icon, then on "New message".
2— Write the username of the member you wish to contact. Then, write your message and click send.
I'm a VIP GOLD member. Can I still send my Express GOLD messages?
Of course! You can send it directly in Conversations (another good reason to use that feature 😉 ).
Whether you're on desktop or a mobile device, the process is the same:
Once in your Conversations, click on the options icon, then on "Insert Gold message".
